Deaf Ability Resource, Inc. - Branding & Web design

   Deaf Ability Resource, Inc. is a Southern California based non-profit that was founded in 2015. This organization assists persons with disabilities in finding employment and providing advocacy.

 

   Firme Designs was commissioned by the founder, Darla Kim to design the overall branding of the company including the logo and website. Julia painted occupations on Juan's hands inspired by the company's tagline -- "Your future is in your hands." and the target audience being persons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Juan and Julia have created marketing materials for DAR's various corporate events; brochures, flyers, calendars, and business cards. Julia designed and manages their website and other social media sites. Some of the most recent projects in collaboration with DAR, Inc. include the design and illustration of the CEO's recently published book "Slept in Beauty" as well as the ASL signage for the 2021 Harvest Crusade at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA.
